2024 Fall Show

The McKinley Theater Group and Keelikolani Middle School Theater Students are proud to present Broadway's classic, Disney's Beauty and the Beast.


Step into the enchanted world of an international sensation that has been produced in 37 countries worldwide. Based on the Academy Award-winning animated feature, the stage version includes all of the wonderful songs written by Alan Menken and the late Howard Ashman, along with new songs by Mr. Menken and Tim Rice. The original Broadway production ran for over thirteen years and was nominated for nine Tony Awards, including Best Musical.

The classic story tells of Belle, a young woman in a provincial town, and the Beast, who is really a young prince trapped under the spell of an enchantress. If the Beast can learn to love and be loved, the curse will end and he will be transformed into his former self. But time is running out. If the Beast does not learn his lesson soon, he and his household will be doomed for all eternity.


 Show Dates:

October 17: Preview Night at 6:00pm

October 18: Opening Night 7:30pm

October 19: Matinee 1:00pm

October 25: Closing Matinee 1:00pm

October 19: Matinee 1:00pm


Doors open to the lobby area for ticket purchasing and concessions 1 hour prior to show. Doors open to the auditorium for general seating 30 minutes before the show. No food, snacks, and drinks allowed in the auditorium. We as that you partake in your concessions in the lobby area or outside on the front steps. 


General admission (14 and older): $18.00

Valid MHS Student ID: $10.00

13 and younger are free as this is a family-fun event

2023 Fall Show

MTG students of 2023 are excited and proud to breath life into the story of...Jekyll and Hyde!

Jekyll and Hyde is a thrilling musical tale revolving around the life of two men - one a passionate and intelligent doctor and the other a frightening madman. This story unfolds when a brilliant doctors' passion for humanitarian leads to the unexpected creation of his alter ego Hyde. Through a sequence of events they become entangled with two women both in love with same man but are unaware of the secret he holds nor of his connection to the string of murders happening in the city. 

 Show Dates:

October 22: Evening show 7:30pm

October 27-28: Evening shows 7:30pm

October 29: Matinee show 1:30pm

2023 Spring Show

MTG will be doing a VARIETY SHOW!

Our students have come together once again to learn how to act, sing, dance, do stage craft! We have also added new students to our group! Together they are sharing in the joy of learning and growing together.

This variety show is being put together from both our students and our directors input on what to do next! Come and support us as we take a journey through song and dance on stage.

MTG was proud to present the Broadway Version of the musical Little Shop of Horrors!

Our students did a wonderful job putting together the show. They've made so many memories since they started working together from June 2022!
